..While I agree with some matters on both sides, I do believe the government’s power needs to be restricted, not widened. This is why I am a Libertarian (just my choice, not the only way, just a way), and I don’t even agree with all Libertarian views. However, forcing your religious beliefs or hyper-conservative views on the masses is an overreaching extension of the government.
While I disagree with many people’s beliefs, I do respect their right to have those beliefs. We have laws on how to treat one another, which should be followed, but Project 2025 goes against some of the founding principles of this nation (which are mainly altruistic).
I witnessed the cartel’s exploitation of the refugee and asylum immigration laws in place, but that should not lead to a far right sweep of those naturalized already. This is how tyranny and government powers become a police state. Like the French Revolution had Maximilien Robespierre’s Committee of Public Safety, in the late 18th century, the American political climate is here again. Since the USA PATRIOT act, every president has continued to leave it in place.
If you think the PATRIOT act keeps you safe, which it can and likely does in some ways, think about the larger implications of the government (any government) having that kind of power over its citizens’ privacy. Left, right, forward, and backwards, the truth of the elite class rulling from the top down has never changed. If absolute power corrupts absolutely (John Acton), where do you think America is heading?
With the increase of UAP disclosure and born-again religious experiences, it looks like the pace is gearing up for something big. Whatever you believe in, make peace with it, and stay vocal for awareness, those things of light and darkness. The more awareness of government corruption, human trafficking, and lack of government oversight (Jeffrey Epstein example), the less power the powers that be have.
Whatever you believe in, be sure you are aligned with it. The lines will get blurred, the waters will get rough, but this is all part of the changing of the seasons. Take a walk in nature, visit a loved one, and focus on what we have in common. Awareness is key but don’t stay in the darkness too long.

What is Project 2025?
Project 2025 is a federal policy agenda and blueprint for a radical restructuring of the executive branch authored and published by former Trump administration officials in partnership with The Heritage Foundation, a longstanding conservative think tank that opposes abortion and reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, immigrants’ rights, and racial equity. Project 2025’s largest publication, “Mandate For Leadership,” is a 900-page manual for reorganizing the entire federal government agency by agency to serve a conservative agenda.

Project 2025 includes a long list of extreme policy recommendations touching on nearly every aspect of American life, from immigration and abortion rights, to free speech and racial justice. A number of its recommendations rely on support from the executive branch and from Congress. Many other initiatives are outright unconstitutional.

What are President-Elect Trump’s connections to Project 2025?
Project 2025 was published by The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank with direct ties to Trump’s first administration. Though Trump has falsely claimed he is not connected to Project 2025, a recent report from CNN found at least 140 people who worked on Project 2025 that previously worked in Trump’s administration, and Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts–who previously worked on Trump’s transition team in 2016–has described his organization’s role as “institutionalizing Trumpism.”
Roberts was also one of the principle advocates for overturning the 2020 election to keep Donald Trump in office after he lost the election. Heritage Foundation executive Mike Howell called the 2024 election illegitimate before voting even began, claiming without evidence that any result other than a Trump victory will have been the result of fraud.
How is the ACLU Fighting Back?
In a series of seven memos, the ACLU details the civil rights and civil liberties challenges that a second Trump presidency will present and provides a roadmap for how we will fight to protect and expand the freedom of all people. This includes:
