Christ’s Grave When Jesus Christ was 21 years old, he came to Japan and pursued knowledge of divinity for 12 years. He went back to Judea at age 33, and engaged in his mission. However, at that time, people in Judea would not accept Christ’s preaching. Instead, they arrested him and tried to crucify him […]
It took me about an hour and a half to drive here from my hotel in Mutsu, which is a kind of happening place (I drank at a one of the many bars last night and had a pretty mean hangover). Once there, you park and hike down hill for about 15 minutes (hiking back […]
I came across this place on my way to Hotoke-ga-ura and it was awesome! It’s a dam and beautiful lake in the middle of the mountains. There was a nice shop and restaurant also there, in a little park, and I, of course, had some ramen 🍜. This was an unplanned blessing and thoroughly enjoyed! […]

It’s length is 53.85km, the longest tunnel in the world, with the under sea section 23.3km long. The Tsugaru Kaikyo Line was completed in March of 1985, and the Seikan Tunnel, included within the line, was originally […]
Beautiful park and observatory on a small mountian top on the coast. The way was wrapped up with the usual local meal. This was a hole in the wall restaurant in Shiriki.
