*Ocean Drive/Deco Drive, Miami Beach, Florida (January 31, 2020)
After working on Miami Beach for a week, I decided to take a stroll down Ocean Drive and see some of the partying taking place. It was quite an ambiance. The Super Bowl has South Florida on fire!

*Lummus Park, Miami Beach, Florida (January 25-31, 2020)
I had the pleasure of working with a great crew on Miami Beach in Lummus Park on Ocean (aka Deco) Drive. The weather couldn’t have been better and the daily sunrise was a sight to see. Although I worked eighty-four (84) hours in seven (7) days in a row, I was exhausted but still enjoyed every minute. Count your blessings while you can and may the math always be in your favor.

This sandwich was $11 but very tasty and filling. “La Sandwicherie” on 14th street and Collins Avenue is a great spot for a quick bite!

The sunset that last day was magnificent! After working fourteen hours (14) that night I walked Ocean Drive and took some great pics, on the next photo album.
*Downtown Fort Lauderdale (Art), Fort Lauderdale, Florida (January 19, 2020)
I had some training to attend for work in the area and arrived early Sunday morning and saw some interesting art nearby. I always keep my eye open for art, anywhere and everywhere. Enjoy and stay blessed.

I wish I would have had more time to take more pictures. I’ll be back some other day and get more pics. Stay tuned.
*Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia (January 2, 2020)

*A family trip to check out Princeton University. Some really nice architecture and delicious food. There’s a lot of history here.

My uncle’s brother had this picture of my uncle Paco (R.I.P.) and me. He was an amazing person and he lives on in our hearts and memories, immortalized by his kindness which echoes throughout the universe.

Starting 2020 with positive vibes and the best company. Family is everything. Happy New Year!

*Rockefeller Center, New York, New York (December 29, 2019)
This was an impromptu vacation, last minute decision. A great time in the city with my brother and cousins! It had been 15 years since I was in the city, and 15 years since I ate a knish (delicious potato patty with mustard). This was a great experience! Enjoy the photos.

Cousins in the city.
*Wynwood Art District, Miami, Florida (December 2, 2019)
This is an area by downtown Miami, full of awesome art pieces all over the buildings, art galleries, restuarants, clubs and bars. I’ve lived in Miami most of my life and I was raised about 20 minutes from here and I’ve seen this area thrive. It’s where the Art Basel events take place (in a couple if days from now)-where it’s block parties, food trucks, beer tents and, of course, art everywhere. Any tourist must check this area out and any local will definitely know about Wynwood. Here are some pictures of the local artwork seen in this busy and artsy area.Art Basel is taking place this weekend and the preparation is almost complete.First off had some ramen at 1-800-Lucky. Delicious (oīshi)!

Welleby Park and Goodfellas Pizza Restaurant, Sunrise, Florida (November 22, 2019)
Random adventure afternoon. Home, bored, off of work, time to drive around and enjoy some of the endless beautiful parks and delicious restaurants South Florida has to offer. After a good morning of the gym and sauna, and some tv and relaxation, I went out for lunch and a walk in a park. I came across Goodfellas Pizza Restaurant, a nice, quiet restaurant with great lunch specials, delicious food, a welcoming ambiance and friendly staff. Then I walked off some of those calories I put back in in the nearby Welleby Park, which is a small but beautiful park very near the restaurant. End the afternoon with some meditation and this blog post and I’m ready for tonight, wherever that might bring me. Enjoy life readers, and ALWAYS make time for yourself. If you don’t think you need a reward, work out and earn it.
The track in the park is actually a soft track which is the best to go jogging or running on. Unfortunately half of the park was closed for renovations. The part of the park that was open was very quiet and enjoyable. Stay focused and whatever you do, never stop walking the path to happiness and enlightenment.

Topgolf, Doral, Florida (November 17, 2019)
I met up with some old coworker buddies of mine here. Really cool place! You can drink, eat and play golf simultaneously. Good times!

*Baldwin’s Neighborhood Pub, The Balwin Residence, New Jersey (November 2-3, 2019)
I lived in Brooklyn, New York when I was approximately 1 year old to 4 years old. I frequently visited my family New York when I was younger, but it had been 16 years since I came back. This was the after-wedding party, at my cousins Jennifer and Steven Baldwin’s house. We all had a blast! Delicious food, karaoke, alcohol, cigars and a huge delicious food layout! The food was amazing! The Baldwins know how to party!

*North Shore Beach, North Miami Beach, Florida (October 26, 2019)
In North Miami Beach, in the Bal Harbor and Surfside Beach areas, from 75th street to 102nd street, there is a beautiful boardwalk that runs parallel to the beach. I used to walk/run 6 miles on here and do some meditating on the beach.
Open Space Park is also here, which is nice. Don’t mind the homeless folks there at sunrise, they mind their own business. For runners, walkers, skateboarders, bikers and nature lovers alike, this is a great trail to use. Locals are found using these trails and having picnics and BBQs here often.
Some other information on North Shore Open Space Park can be found here:

I had a nice walk/run for one hour and fourty-seven minutes; it had been about three to four years since I’d done this trail. Then I earned a good burger and fries at “Burgers and Shakes” on Collins Ave and 74th Street. This place has delicious burgers and shakes!

Anywhere in Miami Beach has it’s charm and scenery, but North Miami Beach has it’s local beach vibe. With multi-million dollar mansions to slummy beach apartments and bums living in the park, and a few delicious local restaurants; for better or worse, I enjoy the ambiance in this part of the world.

Long Key Natural Area and Nature Center, Davie, Florida (September 28, 2019)
Long ago, the area covered by the over 164 acres of the Long Key Natural Area was inhabited by an ancient tribe of Native Americans called the Tequesta. It was later home to the Seminole Indians. Operated by Broward County in the area of Davie, this nature center is home to a wonderful exhibit hall, interactive classroom, banquet hall, theater and trails. Long Key is open from 9am to 5 pm daily.
The exhibit hall features an actual archaeological dig pit; hands on exhibits of native vegetation and birds as well as live animals including snakes, scorpions, frogs and alligators. Within the 2,390-square-foot facility you can also learn more about the history of the Tequesta and Seminole Native Americans. If you have a few minutes, take some time to watch the 12-minute video, Long Key: An Island in the Everglades in the 599-square-foot Everglades Theater. Take a stroll down the pedestrian nature trail or bring your horse for a trail ride to enjoy the magestic oak hammocks. Guided nature walks and educational programming can be scheduled by contacting Long Key.
Have your next bat/bar mitvzah, Quinceanera or special event at the Long Key by renting out its almost 2800 square foot rental facility called Oak Hammock Hall.

This is a nice place right across from Flaming Gardens. It’s worth a stop if you’re in the area. It’s free or charge and the main lobby has a museum type of set that children woud enjoy.
